13.2 Configure the settings relating to the alarm image [Alarm]
Click the [Alarm] tab on the “Alarm” page. (→9.1 How to display the setup menu, 9.2 How to operate the setup menu)
The settings relating to the alarm image to be transmitted to an FTP server can be configured in this section. The alarm image will be transmitted to an FTP server. To transmit alarm images to an FTP server, it is necessary to configure the settings in advance. (→16.2 Configure the settings relating to the FTP server [FTP])
IMPORTANT
•
Depending on the network line speed or the network traffic, images may not be transmitted at the exact designated interval or period.
•
When “Alarm input” or “Manual” is selected for “Save trigger” on the [SD memory card] tab, images will not be transmitted to the FTP server even when an alarm is detected. Set “Save trigger” to “FTP error”. (→10.2 Configure the settings relating to the SD memory card [SD memory card] (WV-SW559/WV-SP509))

When “3 mega pixel [4:3]” is selected for “Image capture mode”, alarm images cannot be transmitted to the FTP server.

When “FTP >>” is clicked, the [FTP] tab of the “Server” page will be displayed. (→16.2 Configure the settings relating to the FTP server [FTP])
[Alarm image FTP transmission]
Select “On” or “Off” to determine whether or not to transmit the alarm image to the FTP server.

[Directory name]
Enter the directory name where the alarm images are to be saved.
For example, enter “/ALARM” to designate the directory “ALARM” under the root directory of the FTP server.

[File name]
Enter the file name used for the alarm image to be transmitted to an FTP server. The file name will be as follows.
File name: [“Entered file name” + “Time and date (year/ month/ day/ hour/ minute/ second)”] + “Serial number”

Transmission interval
Select the transmission interval for the alarm image transmission to the FTP server from the following.
0.1fps/ 0.2fps/ 0.33fps/ 0.5fps/ 1fps

Select the number of images to be transmitted from the following.

Select the capture size of images to be transmitted to the FTP server, images to be attached to the alarm mail, or images to be saved to the SD memory card.
When “2 mega pixel [16:9]” is selected for “Image capture mode”
1920x1080/640x360/320x180
When “1.3 mega pixel [16:9]” is selected for “Image capture mode”
1280x720/640x360/320x180
When “1.3 mega pixel [4:3]” is selected for “Image capture mode”

When “2 mega pixel [16:9]” is selected for “Image capture mode”, “1920x1080” can only be used when it is saved to the SD memory card.

When “3 mega pixel [4:3]” is selected for “Image capture mode”, “2048x1536” can only be used when it is saved to the SD memory card.
[Image compression rate upon alarm detection]
Select “On” or “Off” to determine whether or not to change the image quality of “Quality1” (→11.2 Configure the settings relating to JPEG images [JPEG/H.264]) upon alarm detection.

On: Images will be transmitted with the image quality selected for “Image quality upon alarm detection”.
•
Off: Does not change the image quality upon alarm detection.
•
Default: Off
[Image quality upon alarm detection]
Image quality can be changed upon an alarm occurrence. Select the image quality from the following.
0 Super fine/ 1 Fine/ 2/ 3/ 4/ 5 Normal/ 6/ 7/ 8/ 9 Low
